These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Westwood Services. By requesting a quote, booking work, or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Westwood Services provides property, maintenance, repair, installation, and/or related services as agreed with the customer. - Quotations and Estimates
2.1 Any quotation provided is valid for the period stated on the quote.
2.2 Unless stated otherwise, quotations are based on the information available at the time.
2.3 Estimates are approximate only and may change if the scope of work changes or unforeseen issues are discovered. - Booking and Acceptance
3.1 A booking is confirmed once we agree a date and time for the work.
3.2 By accepting our quote or instructing us to begin work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. - Scope of Work
4.1 We will carry out only the work agreed in the quotation, estimate, or written confirmation.
4.2 Any additional work requested by the customer may be charged separately.
4.3 If unexpected issues arise, we will inform the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible. - Customer Responsibilities
5.1 The customer must provide accurate information about the property and the required work.
5.2 The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the site.
5.3 The customer is responsible for ensuring that children, pets, and valuables are kept clear of the work area.
5.4 The customer must inform us in advance of any known hazards, including asbestos, unsafe wiring, structural concerns, or restricted access. - Pricing and Payment
6.1 Prices are as stated in the quotation or invoice.
6.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work.
6.3 We may require a deposit for certain jobs, materials, or larger projects.
6.4 Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs where permitted by law. - Materials
7.1 Where we supply materials, these will be charged as set out in the quotation or invoice.
7.2 If specified materials become unavailable, we may offer a reasonable alternative.
7.3 Materials remain our property until paid for in full, where permitted by law. - Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
8.1 We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within any estimated timeframe.
8.2 We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, supplier delays, access restrictions, or hidden defects. - Cancellations and Rescheduling
9.1 If the customer needs to cancel or reschedule, reasonable notice should be given.
9.2 We reserve the right to charge for lost time, ordered materials, or other costs already incurred where insufficient notice is given.
9.3 We may reschedule work due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. - Workmanship
10.1 We will carry out work with reasonable care and skill.
10.2 Any concerns regarding completed work should be reported to us within a reasonable time.
10.3 We will be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, remedy any issue. - Customer-Supplied Materials
11.1 If the customer supplies materials, we are not responsible for faults, delays, or additional work arising from the quality, suitability, or compatibility of those materials. - Access and Refusal of Work
12.1 We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where the site is unsafe, unsuitable, or materially different from what was described at the time of booking.
12.2 In such cases, charges may still apply for time, travel, and any materials purchased. - Liability
13.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13.2 Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
13.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from matters outside our reasonable control.
13.4 We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden damage, or issues not visible before work begins. - Property and Damage
14.1 We will take reasonable care while carrying out the work.
14.2 The customer should remove or protect fragile or valuable items before work begins.
14.3 We are not responsible for minor dust, disturbance, or unavoidable disruption reasonably associated with the work. - Guarantees and Warranties
15.1 Any guarantee applies only to the specific work carried out by us and only for the period stated, if any.
15.2 Guarantees do not apply where problems arise from misuse, lack of maintenance, third-party interference, fair wear and tear, or unrelated defects. - Complaints
16.1 If you are dissatisfied, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the issue promptly and fairly. - Privacy
17.1 Any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. - Governing Law
18.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by law.
